Children all learn differently. Some children are auditory learners, some are tactile learners and some are visual learners. By focusing each classroom toward a different learning style, we are able to present the same information in a variety of ways to create the best learning experience for each individual child.
The Drama Room
Reinforces the curriculum through Puppet Theater, dress-up, creative movement, singing, musical instruments, kitchen play and by putting on plays and skits on the stage.
Focuses on language arts, pre-reading and pre-writing skills, computers, listening centers and phonemic awareness through story time, letter recognition and sound identification.
The Science Room
Explores basic map skills, discovering new plants and animals, completing hands on science experiments that relate to the theme, working with puzzles and blocks and doing math activities through creating our own addition and subtraction problems out of manipulatives and number writing activities.
The Art Room
Expresses ourselves with a variety of open ended and teacher directed art activities such as painting, drawing, sculpting, collaging, stamping, cutting, assembling as well as hands on cooking activities.
